REGOPC / SERVICE INFORMATION
Privacy Notice
How RegOPC handles information across this website, PinBean Camera and The Midnight Room.
Scope & operator
RegOPC (睿錫科技有限公司), established on 20 May 2026 in Taiwan and based in Taipei City, operates this website and the products described here. This notice explains the current features; a feature-specific consent screen may provide additional details before information is sent.
Creative content: PinBean Camera
PinBean processes photos you choose and the patterns you create. Local cropping, editing, drafts and progress use device storage. Optional cloud conversion sends an analysis image to Tencent CloudBase after the relevant consent. When you enable cloud saving, serialized patterns and user identifiers are sent to CloudBase; saved patterns do not automatically include the original photo.
If you explicitly request AI image creation, your prompt, style settings and the selected compressed photo for image-to-image creation are sent through CloudBase to Tencent Hunyuan. WeChat content-safety services check relevant submitted content. AI task records include a pseudonymous owner key, request fingerprint, status, quota information, timestamps and result link; they are not a promise that upstream providers keep no content.
Creative content: The Midnight Room
Your saved questions, card readings, personal journal notes, confirmed memories and preferences are stored in this browser using local storage, without application-level encryption. If storage is unavailable, persistence may be limited to the current session. Account registration and cloud journal synchronization are not currently enabled. Other people using this browser profile may be able to see its saved data.
When you complete a new guest reading, its question, selected cards, positions and orientations are sent to RegOPC’s server to validate the reading and calculate a request fingerprint for the one-use allowance. This first-party request happens even if you do not choose AI interpretation. The guest ledger stores the fingerprint and receipt, not the original question or cards. Personal journal notes are not sent in this request.
An optional AI interpretation separately sends only the current question, selected cards and positions, tone, detail and language preferences, and relevant memories that you approve to the AI provider. The confirmation identifies the provider before sending. Personal journal notes, your nickname and unrelated readings are excluded. The implemented interpretation providers are Zhipu/BigModel and Tencent; availability depends on the configuration shown in the product. Providers process submitted content under their own terms and policies. Avoid submitting sensitive information that you do not want them to process.
One free guest reading
The public beta permits one new Tarot reading per browser guest. When you begin, the service issues an opaque cookie for the public app, with a one-year maximum lifetime. It is sent only over HTTPS, is inaccessible to page scripts, and uses SameSite protection. It is needed to manage the free-use allowance, not for advertising.
The server stores a hash of the guest identifier, a reading receipt and request fingerprint, usage status and minimal timestamps. The guest ledger does not store your question, cards, memories, journal notes or AI response text. The optional AI request is separately limited to one provider attempt for that reading. Clearing local journal storage does not reset the allowance. A cookie identifies a browser guest rather than a verified person; clearing cookies or using a private window creates a different browser context. Please do not use this to evade the limit.
Guest usage records do not have an automatic expiry or quota reset in the current beta. We retain the minimal records to enforce the allowance and prevent abuse; you may request review or deletion as described below. After the free reading, you can still view saved readings and write in your local journal. Contact us for further access; the public beta does not offer automated registration or AI follow-up conversations.
Contact and beta-access correspondence
When you email richard@regopc.com, we receive your email address, message and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond, manage a beta-access or privacy request, and follow up when necessary. Our company email uses Alibaba Cloud enterprise email. Sending an email does not automatically create a product account or subscribe you to marketing.
Technical logs, delivery and optional content
Our hosting, CDN, WeChat and cloud providers may process IP addresses, browser or device information, requested URLs, request times, errors, task identifiers and usage information to deliver features, secure the service, recover tasks, troubleshoot and improve reliability. The website uses Tencent Cloud hosting and Cloudflare delivery and security; Cloudflare may also process website performance and analytics information.
The homepage can load a Spline-hosted 3D scene. On supported desktop views it may load when the scene comes into view, subject to reduced-motion and data-saving settings; it can also load after you use the scene control. Loading it connects to Spline and shares technical request information with that service. Other company information pages do not embed this scene.
How information is used and shared
We use information to provide requested functions, respond to messages, maintain and improve reliability, moderate submitted content and prevent misuse. We do not sell personal information. Necessary content is shared with the cloud and AI providers described above when you use those functions. This notice does not promise that every third-party provider has the same retention rules or that submitted content is never used under that provider’s own policies.
Retention, choices and deletion
Local journal data remains in your browser until you remove it using the in-app controls or browser settings. Clearing it may permanently remove your only copy. Deleting a local reading does not retract a previous request to an AI provider. PinBean can delete saved local work and request deletion of a cloud work record; this does not automatically erase every AI task, quota record or provider-held image. A result link expiring is not proof that its underlying data has been deleted.
For information held by RegOPC, email richard@regopc.com to request access, correction or deletion, or ask about a particular processing activity. We will respond within 30 days, verify the request as needed, and explain any data we must retain for security or applicable obligations. We cannot remotely erase browser-only journal data; use your device’s controls. Please do not send passwords, access codes or unnecessary sensitive information. We do not claim a single fixed retention period for all correspondence, technical logs or third-party processing.
Adults, external services and updates
The Midnight Room is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. External links and WeChat, cloud, AI and email services have their own privacy practices. We may update this notice as features or processing change; the effective date below identifies this version.
